Using either your factory hood or our NEW Flat Composite Hood, this engineered kit is a fully functional cold air system that routes air through the factory air box that has been retrofitted with a high-flow cone air filter (included). The CDC-styled scoop not only incorporates retro styling, but also includes modern design cues, a perfect compliment to the Challenger's modern retro styling.
Construction materials are far superior to anything else on the market: the engine cover is injection molded PC-ABS which maintains a clean and factory under-hood appearance. There is even a place for you to install your own "HEMI" lettering (not included).
The scoop, which includes injection molded vent inserts, is stamped steel and is quickly removed for oil changes via Dzus-style quarter-turn fasteners. The system is standard with a high flow cone filter, steel hood scoop with vent inserts, all mounting hardware, instructions, and template to simplify installation. The overall result is added appeal and performance while maintaining a factory look.

Now available - the new Classic Design Concepts Composite Flat Hood! The CDC Flat Hood eliminates the stock twin air inlets while retaining some of the original feature lines.
The devil is in the details - while some other aftermarket hoods are devoid of all styling lines, the CDC Composite Hood retains the original feature lines along the front edge of the hood as well as the feature lines near the left/right edges of the hood. The result is a beautifully-sculpted hood that could have been original equipment from Dodge!

The hood is constructed using Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) technology, a process that is still used by OEM manufacturers today. The result is a hood that offers superior fit and finish, is smooth on both outer and inner surfaces, uses all factory harware, and even retains the OEM crush initiators. This is NOT your average fiberglass hood! Warranty 3-years.
